This core-tool comes from one of the oldest early Oldowan site in West Turkana. Removal of short flakes have been made along  one edge of a flat quadrangular block (L = 155mm, W = 120mm, T = 60mm), and on both faces of the block. Damages on the opposite edge could indicate the use of bipolar technique.
