This protobiface belongs to the oldest Early Acheulean known so far in East Africa and in the world. It has been shaped on a thick cobble (L = 203mm, W = 164mm, T = 69mm)  by a series of convergent removals struck from the edges and on one face only, to obtain a pointed extremity.
