This is a complete skull belonging to a medium sized carnivore, of an extinct form the genus Viverra. The Viverrids are fairly rare in the fossil record and normally fragmentary in nature. This is an unusually complete cranium with a full dention. 

The skull of this Viverrid was found in Area 10 near Ileret and is from the KBS member from about 1.8 million years. This skull has complete left and right dentition. 

The Family Viverridae includes the Civets, Genets and Mongooses.
