This beautifully preserved lower jaw was found by M. Mbithi in 1972 in area 105 at East Turkana. It is an immature mandible that is thought to have belonged to a 3 year old Paranthropus boisei. It has its juvenile canines and molars but it is missing the tiny front incisors.
